11.01.10 - IPYFI! goes live! |

| Here we are folks - the hard work of one long night and one long week! I apologize for the seriously late update, but I had to get the files ready for the Internet, build the pages for the site, get that nice little button over on the left created, AND do a little bit of editing. Took a minute. And yet here we are! A brand new month and brand new title for Slightly off Studios! Imma Punch Yoh Face In! has a lot of different inspirations - partially my love of giant monster films (I love you Godzilla!), partially my love of ridiculous comic ideas, partially my fandom of Ben10 and Generator Rex, partially shonen comics as a whole, and partially that Halloween Special episode of the Angry Beavers. Y'know, the episode where that thing from another dimension breaks into ours are starts eating reality, leaving Norb and Dag to save the day with their favorite b-movie actor, Oxnard Montalvo? That one. It's hilarious. I hope you've seen it, cuz if not, you're missing out. Overall when I was creating this comic, I just wanted something FUN. Something over the top and kinda stupid but that had some heart to it. So while yeah, IPYFI is basically about a kid fist-fighting with 50 foot tall monsters, there are some deeper issues as play with his dad and his own morality. And I've also got a neat twist lined up further down the story as well. Will you guys see more of IPYFI in the future? Probably. I'm not sure how, as MSC:FF and Chibi D keep me pretty busy. But the whole reason I love doing Chibi D is cuz it's a nice break from MSC:FF, so who knows? Maybe I'll start doing more IPYFI's when I need a break from Chibi D. Right now though? Nah. While I'd be more than happy to keep writing IPYFI, I don't have the time or motivation to work on it continuously. I'm sure I'll do some more in the future, but for now, it's on the backburner. I really need to get MSC:FF to a place where I'm happy with it and the stuff I have lined up for Chibi D is too awesome to let rest for long. So enjoy the story! Leave some comments on the Facebook page please, I love feedback. Just so you know, this is going to be the ONLY update this week. I'm hoping to use the meat of this week to get ahead on some MSC:FF pages, hopefully finish out Issue 10. That way, next Monday, we can get back into the swing of things easily. Oh, btw, I also discovered a bunch of screwed up or missing pages in the Random Sh@! archive. They've all been corrected and fixed - I believe. If anyone finds something screwed up, again, please let me know so I can fix it. Other than that, enjoy the story, I'll see everyone on Facebook (I hope!) and then again on Monday! Peace.
